Representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Donbas are making unsuccessful attempts to meet with the head of the so-called ‘DNR’ Alexander Zakharchenko to discuss violent threats by militants against the representatives of the mission, the statement of the OSCE says.

The statement refers to an incident that happened on July 29, near Lukove (72 kilometers south of Donetsk) when the militants threatened to shoot representatives of the monitoring mission.

The OSCE demands a meeting with Zakharchenko to find out what ‘effective steps’ he took in relation to this incident.
