Russia ‘Sending New Military Convoy to Donbas’
A military equipment convoy of the Russian Armed Forces – including tanks, armored combat vehicles, artillery cannons and trucks – is moving through the uncontrolled Russia-Ukraine border, Ukrainian Defence Intelligence reported on August 6.
The supply of military equipment, ammunition and fuels from Russia was documented. In particular, 10 tanks with fuel arrived to Rovenky, a train with military equipment came to Dovzhanskyi and two train cars with ammunition arrived to Debaltseve.
"The tanks, artillery cannons and Grad multiple-launch rocket systems were noticed in and around Fashchivka, Torez, Krasnyi Luch and Donetsk. The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission was updated on it," Defence Intelligence says.
According to the investigation, Russian military command strengthens the outposts of militants, as it supplies more military equipment, ammunition and fuel, lays minefields and builds up offensive fortifications and engineers infrastructure in the occupied Donbas.
"Partial rotation of military personnel in Donetsk is also planned," Intelligence adds.
