Six Hospitalized in Methane Explosion at Mine in Donetsk

Six miners were hospitalized after an explosion at Pokrovske mine in Donetsk oblast, the press service of the National Police in Donetsk oblast reports.

The explosion took place near shaft #2. At the moment when the methane caught fire, 246 miners were in the danger area, all of them were lifted to the surface. The injured miners were hospitalized.

Police, State Emergency Service, and Miners Rescue Service Officers are working on site.
