Government Liquidates State Intellectual Property Service
On August 23, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to close up the State Intellectual Property Service. Its functions are now entrusted with the Economy Ministry.
The State Intellectual Property Service was responsible for expert assessment of the applications for the rights to intellectual property assets and issuing the patents and licenses.
Moreover, it also used to register intellectual property rights and license agreements and was keeping the respective registers.
