Groysman: ₴1 Billion Allocated for Road Repairs on Odesa—Reni Route
PM Groysman reported on his Facebook page that the government plans to invest over ₴1 billion to repair the road from Odesa to Reni port located on the Danube River.
"Currently eight stretches spanning 36 kilometers in total are being repared. A two layer modern road coating is already installed on 12.8 km of the road," — boasted Groysman.
The Odesa—Reni route, spanning 295 kilometers in total, is part of the E-87 international route. Earlier Ukrayinska Pravda described how this road is one of the most dangerous and difficult to drive in Ukraine.
The plan is to repair the entire route in 19 lots, which is over 80 km of the road coating. The total cost of the project is roughly ₴1 billion. Overall, the government plans to spend ₴19,4 billion on repairing roads.
