Court Unfreezes Accounts of Zlochevskyi Company
Kyiv Court of Appeals unfroze the accounts of Pari, one of the companies in Burisma Holdings, the gas extraction holding entity that belongs to the former Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mykola Zlochevskyi, Ukrinform reports.
The related court decision was published in the Unified State Register of Court Judgements on July 25. The panel of judges chaired by Ivan Rybak concluded that there was no sufficient evidence that the assets of the company could have been obtained unlawfully and may be subject to special confiscation.
Pechersk District Court for the City of Kyiv froze 14 gas drilling holes owned by Pari Ltd. on July 1. The asset freezes were made as part of the pretrial investigation of allegedly corrupt schemes around state-owned UkrGasVydobuvannya (UGV) by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
