Francis Fukuyama to Deliver a Course of Lectures at Ukrainian Catholic University

The philosopher and director of the Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law at Stanford University Francis Fukuyama will train trainers on developing and teaching cases for public policy studies in the School of Public Management of Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU). The training program is scheduled on August 21-26, the UCU website informs.

The training program will culminate in the discussion "Using case studies for Ukrainian audiences" to be moderated by Pavlo Sheremeta, Director of the UCU School of Public Management.

On Monday, August 22, at 7 p.m., Fukuyama will also host a public meeting in the Italian Yard in Lviv, Zaxid.net reports. Participation is free but registration is required at the UCU Facebook page.

Francis Fukuyama is a senior research fellow, professor and director of many famous institutions, including Stanford University and the Political Science Department of the RAND Corporation. He has written papers on democracy and international political economy. His most known book "The End of History and the Last Man" was published in over 20 languages since 1992.
