Participants of the emergency meeting on solving issues with e-declarations called by President Petro Poroshenko inform that it was agreed to issue a certificate of compliance for the e-declarations system as soon as possible, the Head of the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAZK) Nataliya Korchak wrote on Facebook.

"By August 31, the State Service of Special Communication Information Protection of Ukraine (SSCIP) together with UNDP Ukraine need to finish working on the first three modules of software (of the electronic declarations system)," she wrote.

The task of the State Service of Special Communication Information Protection is to fix the shortcomings of the software developer (Miranda company), in order to issue the certificate of compliance with the information protection standard by August 31.

"The participants of the meeting were unanimous that in the circumstances when the contracted company did not fulfil in good faith its obligations, SSCIP as a state body has no other choice but to take the initiative and responsibility and ensure the certified launch of the system," the statement says.

The work on the fourth and fifth module of the system will be also performed by SSCIP experts and funded from the state budget. The Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk said he was ready to provide financing for this project.
