Gazprom to Increase Transit Through Ukraine by 20%
Repair works on the Nord Stream gas pipeline planned for August 9 to August 17 will lead to an increase of transit of Russian gas through the Ukrainian gas transportation system on the way to Europe by 20%, Ukrtransgaz press secretary Maksym Biliavskyi informs.
He says that due to repairs on Nord Stream the volumes of Russian gas going through the Ukrainian system will increase to 275 million cubic meters daily. Nord Stream will return to its normal capacity on August 19.
