Avakov: Trump Is Dangerous for Ukraine

Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov thinks that US presidential candidate Donald Trump is dangerous for Ukraine, he wrote on Facebook, commenting on Trump’s statement that people living in Crimea voted to join Russia in a lawful way, which is identical to what the Kremlin is saying.

Avakov added that a politician "who condones Putin’s dictatorship can’t be a guarantor of democratic freedoms for the US or the world."

"There must be a reason why [Paul] Manafort used to head the election headquarters of [ousted Ukrainian] president Yanukovych. ...Yanukovych had to escape to Russia via Crimea. Where would Manafort bring Trump?" the Minister added.
