Poroshenko Lays Flowers at Monument to Victims of Volyn Tragedy
On Friday night, June 8, after the official meetings during the NATO Summit in Warsaw, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko honored the memory of the victims of 1943 Volyn tragedy who died at the hands of Ukrainians.
The President kneeled in front of the monument in Volyn square in Warsaw and laid flowers. Poroshenko is the first Ukrainian official to visit the monument after it was erected in 2013.
