Hryniv: Rada Will Work Non-Stop Throughout the Entire Summer

Head of Petro Poroshenko Bloc Ihor Hryniv stated to 112 Channel that the Verkhovna Rada would not close its current session and will work throughout entire summer, reports Interfax Ukraine. Hryniv reminded that traditionally Verkhovna Rada closed its Summer session in mid-July and then started the next one in early September.

"Yet in the current conditions I think this approach needs to be changed. We will have extended summer session to be able to pass the laws, which are in our ‘backlog’" — stated Hryniv.

"Currently there are no draft laws, that have been discussed and agreed not only by the fractions of the coalition, but other MPs as well. Therefore, there is no pending legislation to be voted on. We might need to gather parliamentary committees to finalize these draft laws and be ready to adopt them," — reasoned Hryniv.
