Kharkiv city mayor Hennadiy Kernes refused to bring to vote the issue of depriving a former local communist leader who is charged with collaborating with the Russian FSB of the title of ‘Honorary citizen of Kharkiv’, Radio Svoboda reports.

The suggestion to deprive Alla Aleksandrovska of the title came from the Ivan Rakych, Samopomich faction city councilor who served as a sniper in the 92nd mechanized brigade, who said "She is not an honorary Ukrainian citizen of a near-frontline city."

In turn, Kernes said this decision could open a Pandora’s box, and refused to put the issue to a vote.

Alla Aleksandrovska is charged with attempting to bribe deputies of local councils to support changes to the Ukrainian Constitution on federalization.

Кернес спит и видит как в Харьков входят рашистские войска. У меня в этом практически нет сомнений.
