Groysman to Provide ‘Adequate’ Response to Russian Transit Ban

The Cabinet of Ministers requested the National Security and Defense Council (RNBO) to consider measures to counter Russia’s ban on the transit of Ukrainian goods, PM Groysman stated during a Government meeting on July 6.

"In recent days, Russia banned the transit of Ukrainian goods," he said. "Therefore, we requested the RNBO to immediately develop respective counter-measures. We, as the Government, are ready to take them," he stressed.

This statement refers to Russia’s decision to strengthen limitations on the transit of Ukrainian goods, enacted on July 3.
