Turkish Airlines to Increase Number of Flights to Ukraine
Turkish Airlines is ready to increase the number of flights to Ukraine on existing routes if the governments agree, the company’s Regional Manager in Kyiv Dinçer Sayici said in an interview to Interfax-Ukraine.
"We want to increase the number of flights on existing routes, especially to Kyiv, Odesa and Lviv. However, we have to receive certain permits for that," he said.
"In particular, the governments of Ukraine and Turkey should agree to increase the frequency of flights. Now we have permits to operate weekly 16 flights to Kyiv, 11 flights to Odesa and three flights to Lviv," he added.
According to Sayici, the network of Ukrainian routes of Turkish Airlines currently includes seven cities – Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv, Dnipro, Kherson, Zaporizhia, and Ivano-Frankivsk.
