Matios Promised Information on the Murder of GRU’s Lawyer
The information that the investigation has regarding the murder of Yuriy Hrabovskyi, the lawyer of captured Russian intelligence officer Aleksandr Aleksandrov, who was exchanged for the Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko together with Yevgeniy Yerofeyev, is planned to be released to the public by August 15, Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatoliy Matios said on Espreso TV, UNIAN reports.
"We have solved the murder of lawyer Hrabovskyi. On Monday, August 1, we will forward the materials to two suspects and their lawyers for information, so that we would be able to send the indictment to court. I promised to present the broad public the full picture about the motives, repercussions, and people who ordered this crime. For objective reasons, this has been taking longer that I hoped it would."
In particular, Matios said that on August 15 the detective videos in this case will be released to the public.
Lawyer Yuriy Hrabovskyi was found dead in the forest in Cherkasy oblast on March 25. The law enforcement reported earlier about arresting a suspect in the case.
