Antonov Awarded $2.9 Million From Russian Airplane Manufacturer

Ukrainian state-owned aircraft manufacturer Antonov won a lawsuit against the Russian company ‘Aviakor — Aviation Factory’ with the amount of the claim totaling $2.9 million, the press service of Ilyashev & Partners, the company that represented Antonov in court, reports.

The Arbitration Court of Samara oblast in the Russian Federation made the decision on July 4. The claim was related to paying royalties for using the Antonov trademark during manufacturing and selling planes by the Russian factory. The hearing was closed, as the matter was directly related to the trade secrets of both sides.
