Hroysman Orders Aerial Surveillance to Monitor Deforestation

Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroysman instructed to carry out aerial surveillance  to monitor deforestation, he tweeted on July 24. "Soon, we will see the full picture of who fells trees and the amount of forest devastation," he stressed.

When Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko changed the Prosecutor of Ivano-Franivska Oblast on July 16, he pointed out that some major problems included the crime rate and illegal deforestation in the oblast. Civic activists created an interactive map showing the most significant deforestation spots in the Carpathians.
