Kyiv Airport Customs Chief Caught Taking a Bribe

Military prosecutors together with representatives of the SBU counterintelligence unit on economic crimes arrested the head of the customs office of Kyiv Zhuliany airport immediately after receiving a $3,000 bribe, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.
The head of the customs office demanded and received these funds for moving excisable goods across the border of Ukraine without customs control.
The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine is preparing the notification of suspicion according to the Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and a petition to establish pretrial restrictive measures.
