Oschadbank to Loan Energorynok ₴2 Billion for Coal Purchase

The Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry is negotiating providing a ₴2 billion loan to state-owned Energorynok [En: Energy Market] by state-owned Oschadbank [En: Savings Bank] to purchase coal for heat generation to prepare for the upcoming heating season, Energy Minister Ihor Nasalyk told journalists on July 21, Interfax Ukraine reports.

Nasalyk also said that despite the hot weather in the month of July, Ukraine was able to prevent power outages for the population while not importing electricity from the Russian Federation and not using gas and fuel oil units for power generation.
