Luhanska Oblast Elected Shakhov of Nash Krai to the Rada

Serhiy Shakhov of Nash Krai political party got the majority of votes at the by-elections to the Rada in electoral district No. 114, Luhansk Oblast, Central Elections Committee informs.

Shakhov was elected by 13 667 or 37.21% of voters. Valeriy Moshenksyi, self-nominated, got 7 778 or 18.71% votes, Oleh Kobzar, Director of Vilkhovske Grain Elevator, got 3 220 or 8.76% of votes.

Nash Kray is considered to be a political franchise of Petro Poroshenko Bloc for the Eastern Ukraine. As Ukrayinska Pravda recently wrote in the investigation of Petro Poroshenko’s orbits — Vitaliy Kovalchuk, the First Deputy Chief of the Presidential Administration was in charge of creating this project in 2014.

The work of  Elections Committee in the district No. 114 was paralyzed on Monday because part of its members refused to attend its session. In the evening the counting of votes was renewed.
