Ministry of Justice Finalizes Political Party Funding Declaration Template

The Ministry of Justice registered the template of political party income and expense declarations produced by the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC), Interfax-Ukraine cites the Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko.

According to Petrenko, such a declaration is a key method to combat corruption. Parliamentary parties are expected to publicly report their incomes and expenses, he stressed.

The National Agency for Prevention of Corruption planned to launch the electronic system of assets and income declarations of the public officials on August 15. On July 18, Vitaliy Shabunin, Head of the Anti-corruption Action Center, reported that the NAPC wanted to cancel their previous decision to simultaneously launch the system of e-declarations for all public officials.
