Economy Ministry Expects Naftogaz to Become Profitable This Year

Naftogaz, which had losses of ₴25 billion ($1 billion) in 2015, is expected to earn a profit and pay out a dividend to the government this year, Deputy Economy Minister Yulia Kovaliv informed on July 20, UNIAN reports.
The aggregate loss of the top 100 state-run companies in 2015 dropped threefold compared to 2014, to ₴42.6 billion ($1.7 billion).
According to the Economy Ministry estimate, the total net income of the top 100 state-run companies in 2016 may exceed ₴20 billion ($0.8 billion).
