Poroshenko Assigns Guards to Ukrayinska Pravda Founding Editor

President Poroshenko assigned security guards to the founding editor of Ukrayinska Pravda Olena Prytula who owned the car which was bombed, killing journalist Pavel Sheremet on July 20. This was tweeted by the President’s spokesperson Svyatoslav Tsegolko.

According to him, the President is currently chairing a meeting of security officials.

According to one line of police enquiry in the investigation of Sheremet’s murder, this was an attempted murder of Olena Prytula.

Ukrayinska Pravda journalist Pavel Sheremet died in a car blast on Wednesday morning, July 20.

According to preliminary data of the Interior Ministry, the car was destroyed by an improvised shell-less explosive device, which was likely guided remotely.
