Lutsenko on Sheremet’s Death: It’s Murder

Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko says that Pavel Sheremet, one of the leading journalists of Ukrayinska Pravda, died as a result of the detonation of an explosive device, he wrote on Facebook.

"The reports from the site are that Pavel Sheremet died as a result of the detonation of an explosive device. This is murder," he wrote.

"My condolences to Olena [Prytula; Founding Editor of Ukrayinska Pravda] and the friends of the deceased. I will do everything in my power to solve this crime."

Famous journalist Pavel Sheremet died in a car blast on Wednesday morning, July 20.
