A Turkish company has agreed a contract to extend the metro in Dnipro, city Mayor Borys Filatov reported on his Facebook page.

He also published a photo of a large document, adding a note: "This is not Encyclopedia Britannica, this is our contract. We invite all the media to a signing ceremony on July 28."

In February 2016, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said after a meeting with Turkish PM Ahmet Davutoğlu that a Turkish company interested in the extension of the metro in Dnipro offered the ‘best price.’
