Russian Army Ceremony Honors ‘Volunteers’ Who Fought in Eastern Ukraine
Top officers of the Russian Army and the Military Commissar of Perm awarded medals to militants who killed Ukrainians in Donbas.
Kyrylo Danylchenko, an officer of the Ukrainian Army, detailed the ceremony on his Facebook profile. He also uploaded several photos, that were made in front of the Chapel of St. George the Victorious in Perm.
Danylchenko is indignant: "Officers of the Russian Army are honoring ‘volunteers’ in Perm. My question is: what relation the Military Commissar of Perm has to the ‘volunteers’ in Luhansk and Donetsk Oblasts who, as we are told, ‘were drafted’ through the military commissariat in Snizhne, Ukraine that is illegally controlled by the militants of the TRODO (Certain Rayons of Donetsk Oblast that are Temporarily Occupied by Pro-Russian Militants and the Russian Army)".
As Ukrayinska Pravda figured out: these photos were published in May 2016 on the website of the Union of Donbas Volunteers in Russia.
