Flares Thrown at Kyiv Office of Rossotrudnichestvo

Unidentified attackers threw flares and smoke bombs at the Kyiv office of the Russian Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation a.k.a. ‘Rossotrudnichestvo’, Radio Svoboda reports on its Facebook page.

The activists were singing ‘Happy Birthday, Oleh Sentsov’ and they painted this slogan on the sidewalk in front of the building.

They also painted the number ‘40’ on the facade of the office. On July 13, 2016 Oleh Sentsov, a Ukrainian writer and cinema director who is currently imprisoned in Russia turned 40 years old.
