Solomyanskyi District Court for the City of Kyiv allowed National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) detectives temporary access to documents of the National Bank, according to a July 1 court decision, Ukrayinski Novyny reports.
In particular, NABU detectives were granted access to documents that involve bank privacy. The court decision is related to the fact that NBU employees allegedly conspired with officials of banks that received refinancing.
NBU employees are suspected of embezzlement of over ₴12 billion linked to Kyivska Rus Bank, Khreshchatyk Bank, Finansy i Kredit Bank, and other commercial banks through providing them unlawful refinancing.
