Polish media outlets have shared a fake statement attributed to Ukraine’s Vice-Prime Minister on European Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze on genocide, she reported on her Facebook. The statement was published on a fake Twitter account in her name.

"Poles with their Auschwitz and Treblinka should be the last ones to accuse us of genocide," the statement read.

"Taking into account that this fake is widely shared on Russian resources — where, unfortunately, the Polish media outlets picked it up from — it is not hard to guess who stands behind this and who gains if Poland and Ukraine fight," Klympush-Tsintsadze said.

"I want to emphasize that I would have never, under any circumstances, said a dirty thing like this," she commented on the statement.
