Pechersk District Court for the City of Kyiv froze 14 gas drilling holes owned by Pari Ltd., which is part of Burisma group, owned by the former Minister of Ecology Mykola Zlochevskyi, Ukrayinski Novyny reports.

According to the Unified State Register of Court Decisions, the decision was made on July 1. Two previous decisions froze 32 more gas drilling holes owned by other companies that are also part of Burisma group.

The asset freezes were made as part of the pretrial investigation of allegedly corrupt schemes around state-owned UkrGasVydobuvannya (UGV) by the Prosecutor General’s Office. One of the directors of Burisma is Hunter Biden, a son of U.S. Vice President Joe Biden.
