Deadly Accident Involving Patrol Police Car in Kharkiv
A car accident that happened at 4 am on July 10 in Kharkiv, involving a patrol police car, resulted in two people dead and five injured, Interfax Ukraine reports with the reference to the press service of Kharkiv oblast prosecutor’s office.
A patrol police Toyota Prius collided with a Moskvich 2141 at a crossroads. According to the preliminary information, the Moskvich was approaching a green light. After the collision, the Moskvich collided with a Samand vehicle.
The accident resulted in the deaths of two passengers of the Moskvich, a married couple, and injuries to the driver of the Moskvich, two patrol police officers, and a driver and a passenger of the Samand. The five injured people were hospitalized.
It is currently being investigated whether the patrol police car had its special siren on.
