Poroshenko Presents Information on Russian Non-implementation of Minsk to EU Leaders

President Petro Poroshenko has forwarded information on the state of implementation of the Minsk Agreements to EU leaders while they are considering whether to continue sanctions on Russia, he told journalists after a mini-summit in Brussels.

"We are waiting for positive news after the EU summit and the meeting of the European Council. It was very important to share the latest information on the state of implementation of the Minsk Agreements and the current problems on the occupied territories, to communicate the clear position of Ukraine," he said.

"The decision on sanctions is extremely important for us, and we have to work effectively on this while we still have the time."
