Reconstruction of Donbas ‘to Cost $15 Billion’

Restoring the infrastructure in parts of Donbas that was damaged during the war will cost about $15 billion, according to the Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Gennadiy Zubko, the press service of the Ministry reports.

"Unfortunately, the eastern parts of Donbas have suffered direct damage from the war. The estimated amount needed to restore the damaged infrastructure, companies, and residential houses is $15 billion," he said.

Petro Poroshenko previously asked to establish an international fund for restoration of Donbas.
