Deputy Chief of the National Guard of Ukraine Mykola Balan arrived to Warsaw to strengthen cooperation with Poland’s Ministry of National Defense and police, Ukrinform [ed.: the text of this hyperlink is in the Ukrainian language] reports.

"A Polish delegation will come to Kyiv in the near future, and we are going to sign a cooperation agreement. It will take place in late July or early August," Balan informed.

He also noted that during his current mission to Poland, the avenues for enhancing cooperation, experience sharing, joint military training for staff officers and combat units, and improvement of training and material resources are being discussed.

The subsequent agreement will be reflective of all these issues, he added.
