Austrian Company to Mend Chernihiv Highway for ₴71 Million

The Road Service in Chernihiv oblast held a tender and ordered the mending of national-class road M01 Kyiv—Chernihiv—Novi Yarylovychi border checkpoint for ₴71.31 million to SAT Ukraine Ltd., according to the State Procurement Herald, Nashi Groshi reports.

SAT Ukraine Ltd. is affiliated with the Austrian company Strabag SE. It operates in eastern and south-eastern Europe in the sphere of civil engineering, industrial construction, and transport infrastructure. The only competitor to SAT Ukraine Ltd. during the tender was Avtomahistral-Pivden Ltd., owned by businessmen from Odesa.

The works on mending of 35 km of the road will cost ₴48.16 million. The remaining ₴23.15 million will be used for covering the road with a protective layer.
