Militants Shot at Marinka Checkpoint: Two Civilians Injured

Militants fired at Marinka checkpoint from a heavy machine gun at around 7 pm on Thursday, May 16 injuring two civilians, according to the press service of the State Border Guard Service.

The injured citizens have received medical aid, their condition is satisfactory. The operation of the checkpoint was temporarily suspended, to be restored on Friday morning. No further shooting incidents have been reported thus far.
