Nearly Half of Ukrainians Would Support Poroshenko’s Impeachment — Survey

According to the results of a sociological survey conducted by Razumkov Centre, 44.5% of Ukrainians supported the idea of early removal of the President of Ukraine from office and holding an early presidential election, while 39.0% did not.

At the same time, in the event of an early presidential election, Petro Poroshenko would get the most support (10.0% of all respondents and 14.8% of all respondents who are planning to vote in the election), followed by Yulia Tymoshenko (with 7.4% and 9.8%, accordingly), and Andriy Sadovyi (6.8% and 10.1%, accordingly).

Moreover, 46.3% of the respondents supported the idea of dissolution of Verkhovna Rada and holding an early parliamentary election, while 38.4% did not.

The survey was conducted by the sociological service of Razumkov Centre between April 22 and 26, 2016 among 2,018 respondents above the voting age in all regions of Ukraine with the exception of Crimea and non-government-controlled territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
